Lynn
House is a proud
member of the United States Bartenders Guild. Prior to taking
over the cocktail program at Blackbird restaurant in Chicago,
Lynn was the Beverage Director and Chief Mixologist for Graham
Elliot, as well as one of the original Master Bartenders at
the acclaimed The Drawing Room. Lynn is a graduate of the
Academy of Spirits and Fine Service, The Academy of Culinary Mixology,
Bar Smarts Advanced, Miami University and
The British American Drama Academy.

Lynn's television appearances include WCIU, 24/7, The Craftsman and ABC. She was recognized by Cheeky Magazine as one of the top 10 women in Chicago for 2011. Ms. House has been featured in Esquire, Gentleman's Quarterly, Ebony, Bon Appetit, Saveur, Cheers, The Tasting Panel, Imbibe, Time Out Chicago, Forbes Traveler, The Chicago Sun Times, The Chicago Tribune,and The Bartender's Gin Compendium. Lynn will be featured in the anticipated Imbibe Cocktail book as well as Gaz Regan's top 101 Cocktails for 2010. Most recently, Lynn was recognized by Gaz Regan as one of the top 20 Most Fabulous Bartenders in the World.
Lynn writes a monthly beverage blog for Plate Magazine, and later this year she will be the featured mixologist at Plate Magazine’s PlateCooks national conference, as well as the featured mixologist for the Bon Appetit Kohler Food and Wine Experience. Charity and giving back to the community are very important to Lynn. She has worked with Meals on Wheels for several years, and in 2010 she was the Mixology Co-Chair for their Celebrity Chef Ball. Lynn has also participated with Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation charity event for the last five years.
